Suicide Prevention Program (Noles C.A.R.E.)

Noles C.A.R.E. is a suicide prevention program which supports the goal of providing suicide prevention training, education, and resources to the campus community. Through campus collaboration the hope is to build a campus of caring and connectedness for everyone. The focus is to provide information on ways to reach out to people in distress.

The program illustrates a step-by-step process anyone can use when concerned about someone’s mental health. The program clearly explains ways to express concern, ask about suicidal thoughts or other mental health issues, refer to resources and encourage help-seeking. While some suicides occur without warning, MOST do not.

You have the power to just ask and make a difference in someone’s life!
